Course Description:
Maria Montessori viewed the environment as a place to promote autonomy and spontaneous learning in children. Her pedagogical approach, derived from her observations and research, emphasizes the organization of space and the use of natural resources and suitable materials to stimulate interaction and personal discovery.
In collaboration with the Chiaravalle Montessori Foundation, this course aims to expand the scope of Montessori principles so they can be applied in the design of residential spaces. The goal is to create environments that are suitable for their inhabitants while fostering discovery and general well-being.
During the course, you will explore how natural elements, colors, and shapes can enrich educational and non-educational environments, promoting creativity by integrating multisensory experiences.
